October Event: Go Karting Suicide is the single biggest killer of men aged under 45 in the UK. In 2015, 75% of all UK suicides were male. It’s a shocking statistic! Few people go through life without, at some point, having a suicidal thought or feeling. With that in mind we’d like to use our October event to raise money for the mental health charity – CALM. CALM stands for the ‘Campaign Against Living Miserably’. They are an award-winning charity dedicated to preventing male suicide. Rayleigh indoor karting have kindly offered their track to us and will take £10 from each booking to donate towards CALM. I’m sure we all know young men who are suffering or have suffered in the past. Let’s use our numbers to come together and have some some fun while raising money for a serious and worthy cause!
